Hachi Kita Kogen in Japan (located in the Hyogo prefecture) is a large resort with 12 lifts that offers skiers an impressive 661 metres, of vertical descent.
Hachi Kita Kogen has 13 pistes. Hachi Kita Kogen is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders, but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. Because of it
`s proximity to the sea Hachikitakoken sometimes gets large snowfalls.
Hachikita and Hachikogen are two separate areas that are joined on the top and it is possible to ski both areas on the same lift pass. Hachikita has more difficult runs at the top and some off-piste possibilities as well. There are some easier runs as well for beginners.
